June is about tackling those outside spaces as the weather gets better. Let’s dive in!
Newsletter Topic of the Month
When the weather is better, we like to be outside. In the Pacific Northwest where I live, spring comes late, so feel free to swap this with an earlier month if you have an early spring.
On your deck or patio look for anything that is out of place, just being stashed. Get rid of that or store it where it belongs. Clear out a storage area, uncover and clean furniture, pressure wash and the like.
Consider storage for outdoor items, there are some super clever ways to have decorative and USEFUL patio and deck items that also do double duty.
This is a great time to pressure wash and tidy up the space. Refresh any planters or nearby garden beds as well.
If you have an elevated deck, clean out underneath too. That can become a catchall area.
At your homes entry porch look around at what your guests see. Are there piles of shoes, toys, dog things? Sort and purge and use decorative outdoor storage to stash those items and clean up that first impression. Add some colorful planters for a welcoming entry. Use garden hose hangers or pots to keep them neat and off the ground too.
Check the door mat, planters and general space for anything that is looking worn or ratty, or just doesn’t belong.

Are you in a book club? I would love to do a virtual book club over 4 weeks with you, just get in touch.
If you have read the book and want to leave a review Here are the links. This is the biggest compliment you can give an indie author! You can leave reviews at; Amazon, Barnes & Noble, andGoodreads
And lastly, if you need a copy of my book, grab one here. Do you know I have sold hundreds and hundreds of books and only 10% of readers have left a review? Please, this helps an author so much, leave a review, long or short. Reviews push me up to where folks can see my book! Just a simple comment helps, “loved this book” “So much good info”. It needn’t be wordy!
Until next month, thanks for the support and keep it COZY!
